Social Good Storytelling that Works.
Lunar Pictures was formed by Justin Guo, merging a background as a commercial director with years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. Based in San Francisco, Los Angeles and beyond, our work spans the entire multimedia spectrum: branded films, short documentaries, broadcast PSAs, event recaps, fundraising projects, engaging animations, and more. We start by listening: understanding your narrative, researching your cause in depth, and telling your story in a way that builds trust and advances impact.
We are proud to have partnered with: The Posse Foundation, WAKE International, the National Education Association, Concern Foundation for Cancer Research, Open Door Legal, Harmony Project, Proyecto Pastoral, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Newark Public Schools, Homeboy Industries, The Autry Museum, Fountain Theatre, Engaging Networks and more.
Why Lunar Pictures?
The moon does a lot of powerful, unseen work. It makes the Earth more livable, sets the rhythm of ocean tides, and offers light in the dark. That’s how we see our role: shifting paradigms about who holds power in our communities, and amplifying stories of those that often go unseen or unheard.
